In Spanish there are many slang expressions meaning “go away”, “leave me alone”, “go to hell” or “fuck off”. All of them mean more or less the same with varying degrees of politeness, from casual to strongly offensive.

Slightly offensive

Vete a freír espárragos (literally “go fry asparagus”)

Vete a hacer puñetas

Vete a freír puñetas

Vete a la porra (porra=”truncheon”)

Strong

Vete a la mierda

Vete al carajo

Vete a tomar por culo (“go get fucked in the arse”)
